We realize that not everyone will have the same body type that’s why our chairs offer various height and capacity options, with some models featuring wider seats and more padding. There are a number of things that our ergonomic chairs have, including:

• Seat Height - Our chair’s seat height is easily adjustable. The seat height ranges from about 16 to 21 inches off the floor. This allows the user to have his or her feet flat on the floor, with thighs horizontal and arms even with the height of the desk.
• Seat width & depth - Our seat have enough width and depth to support any user comfortably. The depth (from front to back of the seat) is enough so that the user can sit with his or her back against the backrest of our ergonomic chair. Our seat’s forward/backward tilt is adjustable.
• Lumbar Support - The lumbar spine has an inward curve and sitting for long periods without support for this curve tends to lead to slouching (which flattens the natural curve) and strains the structures in the lower spine. Our ergonomic chair has a lumbar adjustment (both height and depth) so each user can get the proper fit to support the inward curve of the lower back.
• Backrest - Our backrest is separate from the seat, it is adjustable in height and angle. Our backrest supports the natural curve of the spine, with special attention paid to proper support of the lumbar region.
• Material of Seat - The material on our chair seat and back has enough padding to be comfortable to sit on for extended periods of time.
• Armrests - Our armrests are adjustable. They allow the user’s arms to rest comfortably and shoulders to be relaxed.
• Swivel - Our ergonomic chair can easily rotate so the user can reach different areas of his or her desk without straining.

A basic rule of ergonomics is that there is no such thing as an "average" person. However, providing a chair specifically designed for each individual is not practical. The only solution is to provide workers with fully adjustable chairs that can accommodate a maximum range of people (typically around 90 percent of the population; workers falling in the ranges of 5% of the shortest and the tallest will need custom-made chairs). Choose a chair with following features:

• Controls that are easy to operate from sitting position.
• A seat that adjusts for both height and tilt.
• A seat that does not put pressure the back of thighs or knees.
• A seat with a front edge that curves towards the floor.
• Breathable, non-slippery fabric on the seat.
• A backrest shaped to support the lower back.
• A stable five-point base.
• Wheels or casters suitable for the type of flooring.
• A swivel mechanism.
• Armrests that can be adjusted to the elbow height when your upper arms are hanging down and your forearms are at about a 90 degree angle to the upper arms.
• Armrests that do not interfere with free movements within the workstation.
